This fireplace gives you the convenience of an electric heater with the lovely look of a real fireplace. The heater produces up to 5000 BTU and can be controlled using the adjustable thermostat and the included remote control. Realistic flickering flames are created by LED lights, and the brightness is also adjustable.
A thermal overload protector is a standard safety feature. The surround has elegant floral trim and a rich espresso finish. The mantel supports up to 85 pounds, up to a 47" flat screen TV, so this piece is a perfect media room accent.
The unit is tested to heat 1500 cubic feet in only 24 minutes using about the same energy as a coffee maker. Its exterior dimensions are 44.5" W x 14.5" D x 40.25" T. Since no combustion takes place, no venting is required, and the glass remains safely cool to the touch.
