The terms that apply when you buy from Niche Fireplace, wherever you are in the United States, Canada or the European Union.
About us
This website is operated by Niche Fireplace, 1B Rue du Commerce, 11100 Narbonne, France (info@nichefireplace.com). By placing an order you agree to these terms, our Shipping Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy and Privacy Policy.
Orders and acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it, and a contract is formed, when we send the shipping confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order before shipment, for example because an item is unavailable, a price or description was published in error, or we cannot verify the payment; in that case you receive a full refund.
Prices and currency
Our prices are set in US dollars. You may view and pay in US dollars, euros or Canadian dollars using the currency selector at the top of every page; prices in euros and Canadian dollars are converted daily at the European Central Bank reference rate. The currency shown at checkout is the currency you are charged in. Your bank or card issuer may apply its own exchange rate or fees for payments in a foreign currency. Prices exclude import duties, customs fees and taxes unless these are itemised at checkout. Obvious pricing errors are not binding.
Payment
Payment is taken when you place your order using the methods offered at checkout. We may carry out verification checks before shipping.
Shipping and risk
Delivery options, costs and estimated times are described in our Shipping Policy. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. For freight deliveries please inspect the packaging and record any damage on the delivery receipt.
Returns and cancellations

Product information and warranties
Product descriptions, specifications and images are supplied by the manufacturers and may change without notice; images are illustrative. Products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty as stated on the product page or in the documentation supplied with the product. We will assist you with any warranty claim. Nothing in these terms removes the statutory guarantees you have as a consumer in the EU, the US or Canada.
Installation and safety
Fireplaces, stoves, inserts, gas appliances and venting must be installed by a qualified or licensed professional in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and all applicable local building, fire and gas codes. You are responsible for obtaining any permits and inspections required in your area and for confirming that a product is approved for use where you live. We are not liable for damage or injury resulting from installation or use that does not follow these requirements.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Intellectual property
The content of this site, including text, images, logos and design, belongs to Niche Fireplace or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission. Manufacturer names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of France. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of the country in which you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country. EU consumers may use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page when you place an order applies to that order.
